In the last 3 years, Pope Fastpitch has experienced astronomical growth both in number of players and number of teams. Back as recently as the year 2006, the Pope Fastpitch team only had 12 players in the program freshman – senior. Now in 2010, Pope is looking at having approx. 25 players tryout for their varsity and junior varsity teams, and boasts 2 junior teams with approx. 25 players total (6th – 8th grades).

As the number of players increases, so does the need for gear and uniforms thus increasing our expenses and increasing the financial demand for the booster club and ultimately the parents of our program.

As a way to meet our financial needs, the Pope Fastpitch team is planning to engage in a program this season to recognize our sponsors and those businesses which we patronize.

As a way to give back to the Pope program we are looking to sell official sponsorships to the businesses which were instrumental in our growth. Pope Fastpitch is offering two levels of sponsorships for the school year of 2010-2011, a platinum sponsorship and gold sponsorship.

Platinum sponsors will be advertised on our website “sponsor” page and their logos will be scrolled across our website homepage as well. On the sponsor page, we will place any contact information which you would like to supply (phone, email, address, etc…) We will hyperlink your home site too your logo on our website so when individuals click on the logo, your site will pop up. Platinum sponsors will be announced at our home games twice a game (both junior varsity and varsity games) and will be given the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at one of our varsity home games. Platinum sponsors will also be given a sign that will be put up on the fence at the Pope Fastpitch field.

Gold sponsors will be advertised on our website “sponsor” page and their logos will be scrolled across our website homepage as well. On the sponsor page, we will place any contact information which you would like to supply (phone, email, address, etc…) We will hyperlink your home site to your logo on our website so when individuals click on the logo, your site will pop up. Sponsors will also be announced at both our junior varsity and varsity home games.
